Paper Issues is hopping with Tombow USA!

YAY!  it's time for a FAN-FLIPPIN'-TASTIC blog hop with Paper Issues and Tombow USA!

there's a whole list of creative folks blogging this fun event, and you MAY have arrived from Jennie Garcia's blog - great!  if not, CLICK HERE to start at the Paper Issues blog and be sure not to miss a stop!

Paper Issues and Tombow USA are giving away awesome prizes, so you'll want to make sure you comment on EVERY stop along the way in order to be eligible to win!  wanna know what's up for grabs?

Paper Issues is giving away a $20 gift certificate to spend on anything you'd like at the Paper Issues shop!

and the Tombow USA prize pack?  this fantastic adhesive bundle that i had the pleasure of working with!

Tombow Xtreme Adhesive Permanent (this stuff BONDS like nobody's business!), new Tombow Adhesive Dots (love these!), Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue and Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.  SO VERSATILE, and so many purposes for your crafty projects...

i made this:

i used the Aqua Mono Liquid Glue for everything that was paper, namely the box inserts, the banner, frames and the stands for my bits and pieces (they're all movable, so i can "redecorate").

the Xtreme Permanent Adhesive secured paper to wood WONDERFULLY, especially inside the squares so SOME of the paper boxes are permanent.  and the new Adhesive Dots were for the random bits like the twine, key ring and bird that are partly adhered and can also be moved.

there are TONS of little bits from many different manufacturers and lines in this project.  i grabbed everything with miniatures and scoured until i found a happy combination:  Fancy Pants' Office Suite, Pink Paislee Switchboard and Bella Rouge, Pebbles (Jen Hadfield), October Afternoon Treasure Map, Seven Paper and Webster's Pages, Doodlebug, The Twinery, enamels from Chickaniddy Crafts and We R Memory Keepers and some other blingy randoms from my stash.

i had a TON of fun making this and i am just as excited as you are to hop!

be sure to "like" Paper Issues and Tombow USA on Facebook, and the clock's already tickin'!

now off you go to visit Jennifer Priest for more crafty inspiration!
THANK YOU so much for hopping, and remember to leave your comments at each stop! (then go to the Paper Issues Facebook page to tell us which project is your fave!)  you have until Tuesday, May 12th at midnight EDT to get your comments in - our random winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 13th.  HAPPY HOPPING and happy SATURDAY!

Paper Issues Swag-Baggalicious!

morning, chickens!  :)  i'm up on the Paper Issues blog today with my FINAL post as a Creative Team member...  i have LOVED being a PI Gal and have been inspired by such amazing talent, not to mention the camaraderie with these lovely ladies.  i am going to miss them all dreadfully but am cheering the new girls on from the side lines!

have you joined in the Pinspire Me Mondays or the Sketch Saturdays yet?  how about the Link Party?  there's a new one starting tomorrow and remember, you can link old or new projects as long as you link back to Paper Issues!

anywho, my project today is all about the illustrious Swag Bag.  it's no secret i'm mad crushing on my happy mail every time a new Swag Bag arrives, and December's rocked.  this is what i did with it:

yeah.  i had fun with this one!  oh, wait.  what do you mean it's only a sneak?  well you'll have to go to the Paper Issues blog to see the rest of it then, won't you?

SO.  i've got some goodies to give away, and i'll randomly pick one commenter over there to win a little Fancy Pants True Friend action - the 6x6 paper pad and ephemera pack will be coming your way!  CLICK HERE to check out my post and leave your comment to win this:

for the record, the ephemera pack is sold out in the Paper Issues shop, but the paper pad is still available!  it's my absolute FAVOURITE Fancy Pants line to date, and i want you to have it!  :)

and if you want to be inspired every. single. day...  Paper Issues will do that.  thank you, Cassie Box, for tryin' me on for size!  it's been an absolute pleasure and an honour to call myself one of your Creative Team!

hopping with the Unity team today - check out the new {be inspired} challenge!

oh, folks, can i just tell you how utterly thrilled i am to be joining in the Unity blog hop today?  my "blessings" card was chosen as last month's {be inspired} winner, and not only did i get to choose a bunch of AMAZING stamps as my prize, but i am part of the fun hop today where YOU could win some amazing stamps, too!

welcome!  so glad you've made it to The Chronicles, and i hope you're enjoying the hop so far (you should have started at the Unity blog) - the creativity along this hop is FABULOUS and i am sure you'll be inspired to use your stamps in different ways and maybe to try some new techniques!  are you hopping?  it's a party over here, and i'm so excited to be a guest!  :)  leave some love along all the hop stops, and you could be one of the lucky winners!

SO!  there's a brand new challenge...

and to say that i was inspired would be an understatement!  here's what i made to join in the fun...

this one, using the "Matching Socks" Itty Bitty - it
follows the card sketch and the colors (plus a few extras!):

and this one, that actually follows the scrapbook sketch and the color challenge - this one uses "Where You Should Be" which was one of my choices for my prize... i LOVE this set (the sentiment and the green flower silhouettes on that panel come from it):

and there you have it.  i AM inspired by the Unity {be inspired} challenge!  happy hopping, and don't forget to comment along the way - you could win something seriously awesome, and hey, we ALL want to be winners, right?  :)  have a great day, chickens!

***linked up at Paper Issues for "The World is a Circle" - new issue sponsored by Ruby Rock-it - love the wood button and quirky circles i used on my sock card!***

Some Odd Girl hopping with Perfect Paper Crafting!

WELCOME!  it's time for.....

A Perfectly Odd Hop!  We Odd Girls have partnered up with the lovely ladies from Perfect Paper Crafting to bring you something fun and different!

We had the pleasure of getting together with Perfect Paper Crafting at CHA in Vegas, and a collaborative event was an absolute NO-BRAINER!  Would the Odd Girls like to try out some fun tools?  Heck yes!  Does the Perfect Paper Crafting team want to play with some cute stamps?  Sure thing!  And it’s a match made in heaven…

Today, both teams come together to bring you a fabulously inspiring BLOG HOP that will run through Sunday, November 17th.  There are 16 stops along the way including the main blogs, and PLENTY of inspiration for you to enjoy, so we hope you have as much fun as we’ve all had in this little partnership!
If you’re not already familiar with Perfect Paper Crafting, you are in for a TREAT!  Their tools allow crafters to get perfect placement of their mats and edges, easily shape and layer, and AIRBRUSH for gorgeous effects on their projects!  The Odd Girls enjoyed playing with their Perfect Layers, Perfect Squares, and Perfect Ruler for this little event…  You should have arrived from Jenny’s blog, but in case you get lost or distracted along the way, here’s the hop order:

Suzanne BierEva Uyeunten
Alexis Kemp
Pam Sparks
Judy Bagwell
Wendy Ramlakhan
Jenn Cochran
Mary Pat Siehl
Katie Perry
Roxie Glaza
Kristy Dalman

Leah l’Orange

Yep, I'm the LAST stop!  I hope you've enjoyed all the amazing stuff you've seen along the way!  I'm sharing a project that uses the Snow White image (clear stamp) with the Fairy Magic sentiment (also clear), and lots and lots of pretty layers from the Perfect Layers Border Tool #1.  I created 1/8" mats around my image, sentiment, background panel and the little accent panels in behind.  And it was a BREEZE!

And colored up with my Spectrum Noir markers:

Just LOOK at those Perfect Layers!  Exactly 1/8" all the way around.  I love layering anyway, but this just makes it more fun!

So that's it!  You've hopped your merry way to the end, so be sure you've commented on EVERY STOP and you’ll be eligible to win one of TWO prize packs that include one of these tools and a stamp set of your choice! OH, and our fabby partners have given us a special DISCOUNT CODE for you to use at their store!  Visit Perfect Paper Crafting and enter code SOG5% to save on your shopping cart!  (Not to mention the sweet combo deals they offer)

We'll be spotlighting the individual products throughout the week at the Some Odd Girl blog, so drop by tomorrow through Friday for more inspiration!  You have until Sunday at midnight EST to leave your comments, and Some Odd Girl and Perfect Paper Crafting will each draw one winner, to be announced on Monday, November 18th.  Have a Perfectly Odd day, and good luck!
