November's challenges have completely wrapped up at Design Dollies, and we have kicked off December with some new challenges, new prizes, and a soon-to-be-announced Design Team! life is good! congratulations to the winners for November!
now that i have some sunshine, i can take a picture of the December prize pack, so you'll know what you'll be playing for this month. :) (but play anyway in the meantime, as i promise not to disappoint!)
so Monday, my new Colour Challenge went up (good luck with it - it's a doozie!), and yesterday, Adina-Dollie posted her new Elements Challenge, and today, the third challenge for the week, hosted by the fab Kristy-Dollie, is up! now you're welcome to combine all three challenges (before sunday at midnight EST) for a chance at all THREE prizes for December, or you can pick and choose. we don't mind one way or another - we're just happy you're playing along! :)
so after the card i made for Tuesday's challenge, i am now completely out of cream cardstock (!!!!), and i had run out of white last week, and i'm now on a mad quest for more of those Making Memories cork letters (from the Chloe's Closet line). i love those little suckers! oh, and that swiss dot paper? yeah, my hubbin bought that for me on the weekend, just 'cuz. :) told you life is good! (but i need to do a bit of shoppin'!)
okay, so for a chance at THIS PRIZE,
(YUMMY!), you can play along with the first Sketch Challenge... check it out:
i LOVE Kristy-Dollie's sketches! grabbed some very old stash last night, plus some random little elements, and made this tall card:
the hieroglyphics on the papyrus (it's genuine papyrus!) really do (supposedly) say "happy birthday" - another gift from my hubbin from one of his chorus trips a couple of years ago. :)
so, you wanna play along?
Love the egyption look! fab!!
