after 1 a.m. and all i want to do is make cards. hubbin says i'm obsessed. i, natch, deny it, tooth and nail. (secretly he may be onto something, but don't tell him i said that!)
anywho... i was determined to complete the Caardvarks Micro Challenge tonight, and am pleased to have done so, despite the lousy pictures. not a good idea to photograph at night in this house. meh.
i hadn't busted out my Ketto stamps in a while, so i thought i'd use one tonight, as she was the perfect size for this particular card...
and check out the deet here:
it's adorable, n'est-ce pas?! i got HAPPY MAIL today! i will share the details of that tomorrow, but let's just say that december is off to a great start! and i blame canada! ;)
right. so here are the challenges i played with tonight:
Caardvarks - the micro challenge was to do a project in 24 hours using these colours:
for some strange reason, a couple of the paler pinks are looking more orangey/peachy (which, under other circumstances, would be PERFECTLY fine with me, obviously). i swear they're baby pink, and they match!
i'm also throwing this one in for the "anything goes" challenge at Paper Cutz. i was in a cutesy mood tonight, so why not?
just happened upon Lucy's challenges, and her theme this week is "wings and strings".
and last but not least, i used sketch #29 from Papertake Weekly - it was a good one!
okay, going to get ready to hit the hay... the Design Dollies Design Team Call has officially ended! the founding Dollies are in the deliberation process, and will be contacting our applicants soon. :) thanks for your interest, folks! the response has been overwhelming, and we are SO pleased to have heard from so many talented ladies!
come back tomorrow for the next Sketch Challenge at Design Dollies, and sleep well!
