tag. banner. RAWR.

'cuz i loves me some pretty papers, i decided to get a little outside of my comfort zone and combine some pretties for the TAGS challenge at Paper Pretties this week. some people really enjoy making tags - i just can't seem to get it, and my "customers" usually shy away from them, so i stick with the cards. if i hang onto a tag too long, i usually slap it on a card, doctor it up a bit, and Bob's my uncle. ;)

so here's my little creation - and i LIKE it, but we'll see what destiny has in store for it:

weird that i didn't stamp on it, but i did ink up the edges of my punched borders, so i felt better about that. :)

next up, something fun and a little more ME... i wanted to play along with the "Unusual Christmas" challenge over at C.R.A.F.T., and i was inspired by the BANNERS post over at The Stamp Spot, and i started thinking up holiday bannery stuff in my mind. so THIS little card was born:

teeny tiny little banner, but those alphas work great when you're trying to squeeze in a sentiment and the space is limited. LOVE the S.E.I. papers i got last year when i did a guest spot with them, and they're making lots of appearances on my projects for this Christmas.

i'm sure most of my U.S. friends are doing the big dinner thing today, and we're getting ready to go to my sister-in-law's house for dinner, but i had to take advantage of the gorgeous natural light coming in and MAKE SOMETHING. i'm feeling more MAKE-y lately, and it's treating me well. happy Thanksgiving, folks. eat some good stuff. xo
