challenges and commissioned projects!

okay, puttin' the pedal to the metal this week, trying to gear up for a party thingy a girl invited me to attend on the 25th (she asked for wedding cards, thank you cards for hostesses and encouragement cards for her team members), and when i attended the craft fair in may, she cleaned me out of my encouragement cards... anything that said "you can do it" or "believe in your dreams" or messages to that effect. i'm going to be prepared, dagnabbit! i wanna make some money! :D

so this first card is for:
the very FIRST challenge at 7 Kids College Fund - pink with dots (great prize up for grabs, folks!)
and the Simon Says Challenge - inspired by a song ("Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was the choice here) :)

(kinda went simple, as she is a rep for a jewellery line, so i figured elegant and simply stated was the way to go here)

this next one's for:
BasicGrey Challenges - PEARLS! (the branch flourish stamp is from the Indian Summer line and i threw some Opalines on there)
Tuesday Taggers - lots of BLACK!


and this one - the second of the wedding cards, for
Twisted Sketches challenge (the twist is STRIPES - i made my butterflies' wings stripey!)



i knew exactly how i wanted to do this one when i saw the sketch, and i am SO pleased to have used up the last of that glitter paper!

there's another card but i can't show it yet. hoping i'll get a second wind and get some more craftin' done tonight, 'cuz i feel like i'm on a roll! :)
