Make it Colourful's 9th challenge is LIVE! and we're looking for SHINE! you must colour at least two things that are SHINY in your project - hair, something metallic, silky clothes, patent leather shoes... that kinda thing.
i've busted out one of the BRAND NEW images from Some Odd Girl - ROLLER MAE - and paired her up with the gorgeous Petals and Palings image from Make it Crafty, for this:
don't they go great together?! i was SO thrilled when my Kristy-Holmes-Dollie added this little miss into the inventory, because the craft fair at the end of this month is at the ROLLER DERBY, so i need to have a few of these on hand! Mae has the shiny hair, spandex tights and shiny wheels on her skates, so i've covered all the bases. :)
here's the card in its entirety:
see that fabby little Petaloo flower?
yeah, i've pined for them for a while (dude, they SMELL LIKE CANDY!), and when i got my order from Make it Crafty, i was all too anxious to get my craft on! and OOOHHH, they're HALF PRICE IN THE STORE RIGHT NOW! :)
glad i was able to put this card together before the nasty migraine struck, because i don't know if i'll be able to get much done today. MEH!

playing along this week at Stampin' For The Weekend - their theme is SPRINGTIME, and doesn't Mae look like she's THRILLED that the weather has finally warmed up enough for her to bust out her skates?!
also participating in Stamp Something's March DIGI DAY challenge - it's no secret that i've become more than a little obsessed with playing with digis, so since i used two on this card, i thought that was double the reason i should join in their fun! :)
hope you all have a great weekend - i'm off to do my first assignment for my class!
