today, we have a challenge that, i must admit, was NOT among my faves. but hey, it's a challenge, so i embraced it! it just took me a little longer than usual, both to figure out what i wanted to do, and to actually execute it.
we want to see STITCHING on your projects!
i could have done the faux stitching technique, which doesn't
make me uncomfortable in the least, but instead i did THIS:

that's my girl, Sigh Mae, lookin' all pensive and cute! don't you just love her?!
i stitched the grass and all around the card with twine and went for a slightly clean and simple design. do you want to bust out your sewing machine or your needle and thread and join us for this challenge? of COURSE there's always a prize to be won, and you should see the favourites we selected from our paper piecing challenge! (click here to see 'em - they're seriously FABULOUS!) you could be a fave for this challenge and be PINNED, too!
share your STITCHED project with the Odd Girls by Tuesday, September 20th at midnight EST for your chance to win Some Odd Girl credit, and be sure to link up to your blog post, rather than your general blog. you don't HAVE to use a Some Odd Girl image, but you get a bonus entry if you do! OH, and don't forget to link back to the Some Odd Girl challenge blog on your post to qualify, and most of all, HAPPY CRAFTING!
i played along with challenges at:
DYSU - their theme is TEXTURE, so i've used some textured paper for the grass, added my stitching and my fave little Recollections flowers plus some gems for extra dimension,
and
Creative Card Crew - it's an Anything Goes week over there!
