pearly, swirly, congratulatory sketchy card

trying to get as much crafting in during the steps of my big project, and i was able to get a card done for my commissioned batch (i have to cram in as many as possible between now and wednesday, so every few minutes helps!). i need to pick up some embroidery floss and a magnetic closure for The Big To-Do before i can move on to the next step (it's nearly finished!). Jo-Ann? A.C. Moore? i don't know who would have them but i don't have much time, so i hope i get lucky at my first stop!

made this little card and decided to bust out my first pack of Basic Grey (Sugared - still love it!) paper, and picked up these Making Memories glitter stickers for a BUCK! i love clearance. thank you to my ADINA-DOLLIE for the Prima pearly swirls - they were just what i needed for this one!

i was looking for challenges to inspire me (and light the proverbial fire under my butt to get a card MADE today, instead of just sorting through papers and complaining because i can't work on the OTHER thing!)... i found:
Card Patterns sketch #77
Craftalicious challenge #6 - pearls and swirls

and the inside detail - i don't usually do much with the insides of my cards...

i really need to get myself comfortable with negative space cards... i tend to fill my negative space with lots of patterns and sometimes i know that Less Is More!

here's the sketch:
