new up at Charisma.... April Showers bring May Flowers!

good very early morning to you, crafty friends! hope you've been enjoying all my blabbering this week! :) i have been a busy little bee, and the week is far from over!

thanks for dropping by (and i give you MAD props if you're one of the people who actually reads ALL of my drivel!), and if you've been here before, you probably know that early Thursday at The Chronicles of Orange means it's time for a brand new CHARISMA CHALLENGE!

this week, we're sponsored by the fabby Digi Stamp Boutique, and by Lili of The Valley - a couple of WONDERFUL prizes being given away, so you should play along!

i used Coco, from Digi Stamp Boutique, and coloured him all up for my card:

i tried something slightly different for the flourishes... they're actually the negative die-cuts from a used sheet of paper, and i just cut AROUND the cuts to make more flourishes! kind of a fun technique, and it really stretches your paper (not that it matters when you horde like i do).

here's the closer-upper of Coco:

i really enjoyed colouring this one, even though i REALLY struggle with anything with fur. :) Coco is a little different, and right up my alley!

care to join us? CLICK HERE to see the rest of the Charisma Gals' fantabulatious work (you'll be glad you did!). if you'd like to play along, you must create something new for our challenge and submit it by next TUESDAY in order to be eligible for either of the prizes this week. have fun with this one (and feel free to take the challenge in any direction, but the connection must be obvious!), and come back in a few short hours when i have another, ahem... SNEEEEEEAK!

annnnd, i'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week - they have the theme set for ANYTHING GOES, and they're having a fabby blog hop! so you'll def wanna check it out!

also playing at Paper Sundaes - they have a recipe challenge and i've used Pearls, Die-cuts and Yellow for my card.

have a fabby THURSDAY, folks! the weekend is almost here! :D

  1. Wonderful! Love your coloring - the way you did the background and the touches of red around the teddy!
Thanks for joining us at Paper Sundaes this week!

    Hugs,
    Alica ;)
