i won't be around all day saturday, so i'm going to post my blop candy winner and let you know that AMANDA B is our grand prize winner for the Humble Pie "BLOP"! congrats, Amanda! can't wait to see your Humble Pie recipes! :D
but for those of you who stopped by during the BLOP and left comments for all of the Bakers, you may have noticed that some of us were also giving away our own candy... and MY random.org number was 6, which belongs to the lovely and horribly sweet TERRY OULBOUB! woo hoo! i hope you have fun with this stuff, Terry! could you kindly email me at spazzicassi@yahoo.ca, and provide your snail mail addy so i can send you some goodies? :) go Terry, go Terry! can i get a "WOOT WOOT"?
now then, i simply MUST get to bed, because i will have to get up early to pack my stuff in the car for a whole day of crafting with the Adina-Dollie, and i can't wait! it's a long drive, but so worth it! nothin' better than gettin' crafty with a wonderful friend. :) and drinking blueberry pomegranate wine. hee hee.
enjoy your weekend, everybody! i'll be back on sunday with lots of photos, if i can keep this mojo going all day tomorrow! ciao!

1 card, 3 fabby challenges
my first Tilda card! she's a whole lot of fun to colour. a big THANK YOU to Janet, now a fellow Baker, from whom i WON this sweet Tilda (although i did a little tinkering as she was catching/throwing hearts and it didn't work for this card) - Janet, you are one nifty chickadee!! :)
i'm a girl on a mission tonight, and instead of going to some artist exhibit thingy at the little coffeehouse downtown (that's carrying some of my cards), i decided to take advantage of the quiet time, during which i can make a big mess on the dining room table. :D so i was peeking around the blogosphere, and jotted down some challenge, and these are the ones i chose for this card...
Hope Stamps Eternal - an inspiration challenge (i have a bit of a thing for mushrooms these days, so that was a no-brainer for me!)
Danni's Dreams - Flutter By Wednesdays challenge, to incorporate a fairy, butterfly, angel, etc into your project (both Tilda and the butterfly work for this!)
and a Follow Your Heart "try it out tuesday" challenge (i switched the sides for my corners)...
so yeah, the card:

so there that is! i think i may still try to get another challenge or two under my belt, so i can keep my mojo goin'! shan't be around tomorrow, but i SHALL be craftin'!
only a few hours until my blog candy for the Humble Pie BLOP will be drawn! there's still time to enter - just go to THIS POST for information, and to leave your comment... i'm giving away some Humble Pie stamped images plus a bunch of other yummies! closes at midnight EST!

Humble Pie's NEW CHALLENGE! and i'm gettin' crafty for christmas!
woo hoo! we made it to friday! i am TERRIBLY excited that the weekend has arrived, because tonight i have the house to myself and i plan to get my craft on! then, tomorrow morning, i shall be heading out bright and early to spend the day chez Adina-Dollie, doing more of the same! it's always better when in good company, isn't it? we have so much going on with the Design Dollies, and lots to talk about and plan as the holidays approach and 2010 is just around the corner! EEP!
annnnnnd, since it's friday, that means that Humble Pie has announced a lucky winner from last week's sketch challenge, and we have something yummy baking in the oven!
this week, the Bakers challenge you to make a CIRCLE CARD... and yet another chance to win $10 in Humble Pie bucks, to spend on your favourite Humble Pie stamps at The Town Scrapper. so what can you do with a circle? so many possibilities for the holidays - tree ornaments, photo cards, window decorations, you name it! i'm a cardy though, through and through, and i had a little play with something a little different for me... here's what i made using a snowman and sentiment from the brand new holiday Sweetie Pie stamps from Humble Pie, by our awesome designer, Heather!

my snowman was coloured with CTMH watercolour pencils and my blendy pen, the candy cane paper is from Heidi Swapp (and that yummy mirror - i'm now in LOVE with these!), and the flourish is Grungeboard painted with metallic watercolours with Ice Stickles added for some glitz.
so what's your circle card going to look like? show us! check out the challenge HERE and see what the rest of the Bakers have been up to! i must say, our kitchen looks and smells GREAT right now! :D you don't have to use a Humble Pie image, but we'd love to see them if you have them!
and so i was feelin' festive, and decided to make some more cards - i'll post the links to the challenges later this afternoon, but here are the cards in the meantime (minus one i can't show you, as it's a Dollies upcoming challenge!) - i had some fun using non-traditional colours and those Jillibean Soup journalling sprouts are FABULOUS!!

for the Cute Card Thursday challenge
and for, um, something else, too. :)

i'll be baaaaack!
and don't forget, you have until tonight at midnight to play along with the Humble Pie Blop! i'm giving away some candy for one commenter to THIS POST - so you'll have a chance to play along with some of our yummy Humble Pie images too (and maybe a few other goodies, just 'cuz). hurry!

and so the last of the October challenges has wrapped up at Design Dollies, and we hope everyone enjoyed themselves! your work was magnificent, and it's a good thing our winners are chosen RANDOMLY, because we'd have had a hard time picking favourites...
so our lucky winner for the very brilliant Ms. Kristy's Sketchy Prize is Dorothy S.! congratulations, Dorothy! we hope you'll continue to play along!
especially because the next prize pack is a good'un, and we're sure there will be a lot of entries this month! the word is spreading, and we want to thank EVERYONE who's supported us for helping get our name out there! there's a blinkie that you can put up on your blog if you're interested, too!
so, the next prize pack..... THIS:

yummy, no? See D's stamps, Making Memories vintage ephemera, stickers, journalling tags and flowers... what's not to drool over, right? and here's your first sketch challenge for November (i loved this one!):
i decided to turn it on its side and play:
that sexy boot is one of the digital stamps i won from Digital Ink - isn't it HOT?! :) i also dove into some of the goodies i won from Lauren, my artistic genius friend - the chipboard flourish, the sentiment, and that SCRUMPTIOUS fat black ricrac... *drool*
SO. that's your cue! you can now take all three challenges for the week and combine them to enter all three prize draws (do this by sunday at midnight EST, as the next batch begins again next monday!), or you can play along with only the challenges that suit your fancy. either way, we hope to see you at Design Dollies! :)
don't forget to BLOP (blog hop!) with us at Humble Pie, and to submit your entry for our Sketch Challenge this week by TONIGHT at midnight EST! winner of $10 in Humble Pie bucks will be announced tomorrow, and we'll have a fun new challenge for you!

GO HEIDI!
woo hoo!!! remember my awesome friend, HEIDI, who brought us THIS piece of genius:

well due to some issues with the polls and the voting for the final round to make the Torendi design team, they had to take the power of the vote away from the public... but the head hanchos have spoken, and SHE MADE THE TEAM! :) obviously they are smart people, those Torendi folks.
congratulations, girlfriend! you're going to ROCK that spot!
PLEASE go say hello to Heidi and share in her good news!
