i'm LAWNSCAPING as a Guest Designer! join me for CAS!

hey gang!  it's Monday!  the 3rd one of the month, in fact, and that means it's time for a Lawnscaping challenge!  i'm the guest designer for this round (#78) - so excited to be joining the awesome team this week!

so this week, there's a SUPER fun little line-up for you, and a fabby prize up for grabs!  ANNNNND the challenge is, in my opinion, pretty perfect for Lawn Fawn, if you know anything about Lawn Fawn.  :)

the theme?  CLEAN AND SIMPLE.  yep.  while i love busy and chaotic and crazy and random, i thought i'd have a little CAS fun with this cute sickie turtle from the On The Mend set.  check me out!

little turtle dude and his hot water bottle are coloured up with my Prismacolor pencils, i stamped the sentiment on a label, then added a few simple stickers and chipboard pieces, plus a teensy bit of bling.  SIMPLE!  and relatively CLEAN (which is unusual for me).  it really does take a LOT of willpower to avoid clutter (and to refrain from slapping a big ol' piece of patterned paper behind everything for a background!), so i know you can do it, too!

feeling Sentimental about the holidays!

hiya.  again!  yep, i'm getting back into my groove, folks, and it's feelin' GOOOOOOOD.  not only have i been busy playing with lots of new products and surrounding myself with loads of creative people, but i have been picking up things here and there for my new craft room (yeah, still in progress - lots to do!), and i can't wait to have it all in one designated space.  for now, i'm crafting at the kitchen table (formerly the dining room table), and i'm okay with that.  but it won't be long!

today, a quick project to share using Christmas Magic, one of the new and SO, SO versatile Sentimentals stamp sets from Crafter's Companion...  i didn't have a lot of time, but wanted to launch my holiday crafting as soon as the stamps arrived, so i put this little cutie together in NO TIME FLAT (not the greatest photo, taken late at night):
