Elemental with the Dollies!

okay gang, this is challenge number two for the week at Design Dollies! yesterday i brought you our COLOURS CHALLENGE, and today we have a new ELEMENTS CHALLENGE for you! feel free to combine the two for a chance at BOTH fab prizes, or wait until our SKETCH CHALLENGE is revealed on thursday to combine the three!

today, Adina-Dollie presents....

DISTRESSING!

this happens to be one of her absolute FAVOURITE techniques (and definitely one of her trademarks!), and she is just so GOOD at it!! we'd like to see what you can do with the tearing, crumpling, sanding, edge distressing, inking, crackling, and any other AGING techniques you'd like to try!

she had a yummy jar of ROCK CANDY distress paint waiting for me when i got to her place on saturday, so i figured this challenge would be perfect for tinkering! the verdict?

well do you SEE what it did to that yummy piece of chipboard? it's DELISH, and i love the stuff! of course, you don't need ROCK CANDY to distress your project!

CHECK OUT THE CHALLENGE HERE - and show us what you've got!

annnnnd, if you have some time, go and visit my nifty friends Diana and Heidi, the gals in charge of Sketchy Thursdays - they BOTH have candy up for grabs, and if you're not already following them, you NEED to be! they're amazingly creative and talented, with lots of innovative ideas to share! tell 'em That Orange Girl sent you! :D
