okay, it's flippin' COLD here! went down to 9 degrees last night, and our heat was on most of the time while we slept. i woke up STILL freezin'! anyway, i was inspired, needless to say, to make a winter card.
i'm WISHING for spring, but as it's clearly not quite ready to visit, i busted out the very lovely Snowy Mae and put her in some of my favourite colours, and put this clean and simple card together for the
1,2,3 challenge at Cute Card Thursday (1 image, 2 papers, 3 words)....
i seldom play with glitter, especially the flakes, but thought it was appropriate for this particular card. check out the glittah action!
she's also for the "De-Stressing" challenge at Paper Sundaes (LOVE that Old World paper stack, and i've given my edges some ink and shreddin')
annnnnnnd, that's about all she wrote for today, folks. i have a busy week ahead of me, and now the hubbin and i are going grocery shoppin' so we're ready for the onslaught!
did i mention i got a raise? YEE-HAW! it's small, but it's the principle of it, and i'm thrilled. now to address the possibility of a promotion.....
hope you've all had a fabby weekend, crafty friends! xo
