(i'd espesh love to hear if you've tried something and failed miserably... i was NOT very good at wood burning, for example.)

I've already said this... but man I love your card!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very sweet, love the shading on his face x
ReplyDelete(insert like 50 hearts)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely darling! when you do a trim like that on the image, do you adhere it first and then trim it down to match? Love that technique--just don't do it very much myself. This cat is going on my wish list...I've wanted him for awhile...but now I have to HAVE him!

I am in love with this image. The colors that you used blends well. Great job. TFS
ReplyDeleteThis sweet little kitty is getting a workout today. It's so fun to see him colored so many different ways. You did an awesome job.
ReplyDeleteWOOT WOOT! You have amazing coloring skills. This is so faboo!!! LOVE it. :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing coloring! Love it!
ReplyDeleteAdding that the only other craft that I have worked on and failed miserably is scrapbooking. I just can't do it. :)
DeleteGorgeous colouring and a lovely card...my hobbies are playing tennis and reading...I also love walking along the beach...don't remember any hobby failed...

Very cute kitty card! My other hobbies are gardening and simple sewing/quilting/stitchery projects. I found I am not good at sewing clothes for myself--they never fit right.
ReplyDeleteAdorable card. You kitty is so cute and your colouring is amazing. I also do other projects like Air brushing (still learning) I draw alot too. and I like painting as well. I am trying my hand at mixed media on canvas too. I also have done some work with a dremel tool. a lil carving. I still need more work on that and I do want to try my hand at wood burning and glass etching. Maybe one of those will fail but I am going to try them anyway. You will never know what you are good at until you try.
ReplyDeleteWOW! WOW! the coloring of your cat is so amazing! he looks really hairy. ;)
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the look of the prisma colors - they really look great - so used to markers that pencils are refreshing!
ReplyDeletelyn
oh my...love how you colored that kitty!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing card. I love your coloring and your layout.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is TOO CUTE!! Your coloring is just amazing and I really love the design. TFS! As for hobbies...how much time do you have? LOL I read a TON (does that count as a hobby?) and do karaoke religiously. I've tried snowshoeing (hard work!) and dancing. As for crafty hobbies, I have dabbled in chalk pastels (not so great), sewing (I'm ok, but I really need to find more time) and jewelry making (it was fun, but I'm over it). There's a bunch more, but I don't want to write you a novel. =D
ReplyDeleteLOVE the DOts on the frame and the chevrons! It all coordinates together and it's so FUN!
ReplyDeleteWow! The texture you achieved in your coloring, it looks so much like fur! I love this!
ReplyDeleteLove how you colored the kitty.. pretty card..
ReplyDeleteHow could you fail at wood burning?? I mean, don't you just light it on fire and it burns? It is flammable after all, right?
ReplyDeleteBwah ha ha ha ha, don't mind me. (I always say, "At least I amuse myself.")
Love your card. Your colouring is fab!
Hobbies....hmmm...can we count sports as a hobby? (I'm going to pretend you said yes.) I play fastball in the spring/summer and volleyball in the fall/winter.
Very, very pretty card and sweet stamp. Great coloring.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and colouring!!
ReplyDeleteAs for hobbies, well, thats a freaking hard one!! Does FB count??! Haha! I will say that I would love to learn the drums as a hobby, how's that??
Thanks for sharing :)
The kitty looks so fluffy! I have tried most crafts. Failed miserably at sewing. Sewed through my thumb nail with sewing machine lol.
ReplyDeleteThe coloring on this kitten is awesome! As for other hobbies I like to crotchet, and wish I could sew, but I'm AWFUL!
ReplyDeletewow that kitten's fur looks amazing. Before I made cards I was a big time scrapbooker (now its taken 2nd place) and I liked needlework (don't do that anymore but still love the look of embroidery on anything!).
ReplyDeleteLeah. Cute cat and love that you did it grey. Sending some bloggy love from the hop. Glad I was able to visit.

ReplyDeleteCute card, love the colors used..very nice
ReplyDeleteWow the cat really looks like its got fur!!
ReplyDeleteHobbies..hmmm... Before crafting, there was a time when I was really into orchids. Really pretty flowers. But I got over-excited and bought 300 plants on ebay in one hit. That is how one hobby became a chore.
Such a sweet card! Love this cutie!
ReplyDeleteI've had lots of hobbies in the past. I used to paint, make jewelry, draw, gardening. I even tried word working which didn't work out so well even though it still interests me :) I love hobbies and would do them all, all the time if I could!
<3 Emily L.
This card is simply precious - love the kitten! Hobbies - hum? I mainly do paper crafting - cards and making scrapbooks now. In the past I have enjoyed working in my garden, wood working, lots of DIY projects. Time being important, there are moments when one has to let things go......
ReplyDeleteCute card. The kitten is adorable. Iris
ReplyDeleteaww... such a cute Kitty card...just adoarble...... My hobbies are scrapbooking and card making.....and travel.....plus it is my profession!
ReplyDeleteKitty reminds me of our feral siamese...love your coloring and background paper! hopping along
ReplyDeleteSuper sweet and adorable card! I have tried my hand at painting (so-so at it), cross stitching (I get bored easy), decorating tshirts and sweatshirts (fun!), sewing (so-so with fabric but pretty good with papers!) and knitting (horrible at it and didn't get that gene from my knitting mom).
ReplyDeleteGirl! You always blow me away with your coloring! I love the fur you created on this kitty. This is such a beautiful card. It's SO Leah!
ReplyDeleteawesome coloring!! great details on your card! ;D
ReplyDeleteLove your colors, coloring and the card. I am glad, I hopped along.

ReplyDeleteA bright, cheerful card. Love that little cat. He is so cute. wish he lived at my house.
ReplyDeleteI've tried most hobbies except for knitting. Kept dropping stitches. I've done macrame, crochet, needlepoint, painting. Now I just do card making.
Super cute card!! I love how you've added the fur!
ReplyDeleteother than paper crafting, I've done cross stitching, quilting, and some sewing..
Went back and realized I need to add that my other hobbies include machine embroidery, photography and making memory books with my Girl Scouts and my preschoolers.
ReplyDeleteyour kitty is adorable!
ReplyDeleteand believe it or not, I actually read more than I paper craft. I keep extra books so I never go without a 'back up' for when I finish one. I MUST read every single day.
