COLOURING!

there is colouring going on in the house of Orange, and the other day, i did a bit of a sweep to see what crafty stuff i want to sell. stay tuned! there will be some photos! the last time i offered up either a trade or sell, but this time i'm all about sellin'. need to clear some space (espesh if we're hoping to move into a new house later this year) and make money for my Copics. 'cuz 12 simply won't do!

the sun is GORJE today, so it's nice to have a bit of natural light that i can actually USE for a change. and Trader Joe's "JOE" coffee is the bizzomb. fer serious. i love this stuff and it's gonna get me through the day!

Charisma's seein' the love in the air!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR at Charisma this week, folks, and i will admit, i am obsessed with this MME paper for these types of cards. i'll just throw it right out there and then i'll tell you what i'm talkin' about...

see that little balloon with the birds?

well, paired up with the cloud stamps (because they're SO versatile and the perfect size!) from the GROW Nouveau Girls clear set from Some Odd Girl, i think it makes a fun little one-layer CAS card. and there are tons of these little birdie balloons in MME's Love Me Do pack, so i'm rather smitten!

i've also been lovin' heavily on my MS scoring board, which i thought framed the card nicely without distracting from the image/sentiment. oh, yes! the sentiment? my favie little teensy-weensy rubons from Doodlebug! they're so fussy, but what FUN little fonts, and the size is adorable when you're after something understated. :) and i was!

a little something charming!

a quickie post today, now that all of the excitement with the Nouveau Girls release at Some Odd Girl has died down a little (but just a little, 'cuz these lovelies will be popping up all over the blogosphere!)...

i was asked to make an anniversary card for my very sweet friend, and while she loves the cutesy stuff, i thought i'd go in a different direction with this one. of course it was a challenge to AVOID putting some adorbs little character on the final product, but here's what i came up with:

simple, but i used one lonely piece of patterned paper from an older DCWV stack, added some white AC Remarks stickers, stamped my sentiment (which is a combination of Some Odd Girl and CC Designs sentiments) onto a paint swatch from Home Depot, mounted it onto a second swatch, added my ribbons and charm, distressed and doodled the edges, and voila! i hope she likes it! oh, and here's the inside:

(that's a MSE! sentiment in there) i hope she likes it! i just dropped it off in her mailbox. now i must get working on birthday party invitations for her daughter, who's turning 14 next month. thanks for keeping me busy, Z! :)
