so who WON the "Name That Digi" contest at Some Odd Girl?

we have WRAPPED UP the contest to Name That Digi at Some Odd Girl, and you're going to want to pop on over to the Some Odd Girl blog to see if it was YOU!

here's the formerly nameless digi that's up for grabs:

a big thank you to all who submitted names - we had some SERIOUSLY cute entries! and thank you everybody who celebrated along with our big 2nd birthday week. it's been a lot of fun!

now we're gearing up for CHA, preparing to bid adieu to our current Odd Girls, and soon we'll be welcoming the team for the next term! 2012 is off to an exciting start, isn't it?!

oh no you didn't! ANOTHER gorgeous Some Odd Girl release?!

it's time for more CLEAR STAMPS from Some Odd Girl!

seriously, i don't know how my Holmes does it - she's a busy little bee, and she never ceases to amaze! we Odd Girls are very proudly showing off THREE brand new clear stamp sets, and they're unbelievable! one you've seen sneakin' a bit here and there on our birthday celebration banner, and that's the one i'm showing you today, in all her glory. the other two will be spotted on the Some Odd Girl blog, as well as around the Odd Girls' casas, 'cuz we are TOTALLY loving on these new sets.

here's the reason:

(it's a big card, so click on her to enlarge)

check out our girl, Birthday Mae (who's available NOW at SomeOddGirl.com!), up close:

i love love LOVE her little dress and hairband, and that sassy little pose! the girl is READY to party. oh yeah.

but mostly, i'm digging on the fantastic CANDLE stamp... it's 3 candles in a row, and the very first idea i had when i opened my package filled with SOGgy goodness was that i NEEDED to use the candles as a border or background. LOVE them!

we are also excited to show off two other Maes... a Baker and a Cupcake girl! go check them out HERE, and drop by the Some Odd Girl blog to see if YOU were one of the lucky winners of our blog hop! three lucky people will be getting one of these new pretties delivered to their mailboxes! :D

the Some Odd Girl HOP has ended!

well, we hope you enjoyed the blog hop, everybody! lots of participation - we Odd Girls had fun selecting our faves from the term (it's nostalgic to go back through one's creations, and sometimes embarrassing!), and we hope you enjoyed our little game!

from my commenters, there were THREE people who got the correct answers for the stamps used on my cards! yep, just THREE! some of you were REALLY close, but maybe missed the secret stamp in #1, or confused the ornaments in #2 with other ornaments we offer at SomeOddGirl.com. regardless, i enjoyed your comments, and now it's time to give you all the run-down!

here are the particulars...

card #1:

i used the Photo Kaylee set and the FRAME from Sweet Thinkin' Mae!

#2:

i used the Tree Trimming Kaylee set - which is, actually, currently SOLD OUT!
i swear it was there yesterday! :)

#3

this, of course, is Gifty Gwen. the newest member of the Some Odd Girl family, and she's caused quite a stir! my first time playing with monochromatic that was NOT black and white, and i was thrilled with the results. kinda happy with my pleats, too! :) clearly, this girl ain't just for Christmas! in fact, i can totally see her holding a box of CHOCCIES, can't you?

and for my bonus!
#4

that, dear friends, is the retired MINTY! so, so cute! and another fine example of why you should just GET something when you see it! you never know when it may disappear! ;) there were 4 people who guessed this one correctly. what's in store for our winners, Alex? well, there may just be a little something for ALL of 'em!

HEY!
Mary Brockway!
Tracey Brossart!
Redonna!
Citronlime!

send me a little email, ladies! quiteorange@yahoo.com
there's something sweet in it for you! :D

so you people who answered correctly, you know who you are! thank you to EVERYONE who played along, and be sure to check the Some Odd Girl blog at 9 am on Wednesday to see if you're one of our winners! there might be something else for you to see, too. we have SURPRISES in store for ya!

just a quick FYI...

hi gang! thanks so much for your lovely comments on my Some Odd Girl blog hop post! it was tough to choose my 3 fave creations from this term, and i recall some seriously LONG evenings just trying to pick out papers for layering!

anywho, i just wanted to let you know that while i've gotten a ton of right answers regarding the MAIN stamp sets i used on my projects, i have to tell you that there is also a set that i used for the first card that only ONE person has guessed so far! it's subtle, but it is, indeed, a clear stamp from another set, and it's part of the game, folks!

let me know your guesses! you have another day to play!

annnnnnd it's another SOGgy hop!

morning, friends! it's a bank holiday here for me, and i am THRILLED to have the day off so i can do some catching up. hubbin is going to the 76ers game in Philly this afternoon, and i think i may just be doing a bit of pre-CHA shoppin'! :D stoked, i tell you!

i'm also stoked because we have SO many exciting things going on at Some Odd Girl right now, and today we are thrilled to kick off the whole week of celebrations!

that's right! Some Odd Girl will be 2 YEARS OLD on Wednesday, so we are introducing a brand new digi (that we're letting you name!), and we're partying today and tomorrow with...

a FAVES HOP!

if you've already started hopping, you have arrived here from Corry's blog. if you're just happening by, you'll want to START HERE and make sure not to miss any stops along the way!

each of the Odd Girls is showcasing their three favourite SOGgy creations during their term, but there's a CATCH!! not only do you get to feast your eyes on all kinds of tasty craftiness from our girls, but we are inviting you to leave comments that tell us exactly which stamps/digis were used to create them! Sound like fun? Well we promise not to include any retired stamps from SomeOddGirl.com, so if you're not sure about the name of a particular stamp (or set), just pop on over to the store to find it!

are you up for this little game? we hope you'll enjoy it, and we KNOW you're going to love seeing all our faves from this term.

random winners will chosen out of the correct answers to win 1 of the 3 brand new Birthday Celebration Clear Stamp Sets! 3 winners! and just WAIT until you get a load of these new sets (there's a sneak in the logo above). you have two days to hop along with us, and be sure to leave lots of love on each Odd Girl's blog for more chances to win!
