can you believe it's 2010 already?
i can't believe that it's already been 6 months since i started blogging, and playing around with design teams, and watching my crafty supplies grow and grow like bad weeds! :) it's been a lot of fun, and i can't wait to see what this decade has in store, now that i've found a hobby i TRULY love.
yesterday, we posted a brand new challenge at Humble Pie - and the Bakers had a LOT of fun with this one! in celebration of the new year, we're going CLASSY, with a black tie event type of deal! your challenge is to use BLACK AND WHITE, with the option of one other ACCENT colour.
here's my card for this one (i know my "optional accent colour" was probably predictable, right?):
i think Dusty is still my favourite of the Humble Pie stamps - love those glasses!
and you'll find the challenge HERE, so you can play along, too! your project must be brand new for this challenge, and you don't have to use a Humble Pie image (although if you have any, we'd love to see them!). you'll have until Thursday, January 7th at midnight EST to post your project and link it up - just leave us a comment, and be sure to link back to us!
you also have ONE MORE DAY to play along with the Design Dollies, for a chance at some yummy december prize packs! check us out! and if you don't have time to play before Sunday at midnight (January 3rd, which is technically TONIGHT), then at least check back monday when we show off the new faces of Design Dollies and toss some new challenges your way!
more fun stuff coming - 2010 is going to be EXCITING!
