WHEW! an SPCC struggle!

seriously, i have no idea why, but i had a VERY hard time playing with the colour challenge at SPCC this time around. (you'd swear i'm stalking Heidi - she's on some of the BEST design teams! (especially the Design Dollies!) :D

here is my card:

weird - every time i try my hand at one of the SPCC combos, i end up making a thank you card! well i'm a little low on them at the moment, so it was a necessity! :) the lighter pink splotches on the cardstock are actually Luminarte's Radiant Rain Shimmering Mists - the colour i used is Pink Grapefruit. it looks SO shimmery and lovely, but the photos are ick today because it's a horribly dreary day. i've been hanging onto some of the negatives from my christmas projects (i ALWAYS keep the paper from which i've punched), and was so happy to use this pink strip up!

here are the colours:

(the ones i used are pretty close, right?)

kinda went simple this time - one of my resolutions this year is to NOT be so predictable! :D

  3. Love it. Great way to use up those negatives! Your colors are close enough to count! Your mist is wonderful. I know that stuff is hard to pick up in photos.

  11. Very nice! I can't work with pink...I repel it. Oil and water, ya know? But you rocked it. BTW, how do you like the Luminart's? Are they about the same as glimmer mist? I see the colors are pretty vibrant. I'm kinda just making my own now...better on the budget, but then I see like that teal one and my jaw drops. Dang! Gotta have it!
