Dollies Challenge, DT Call, and Tellen's Place HO HO HO!

whew! busy week over here, but i am VERY pleased to report that my son and i received our PASSPORTS yesterday! this means we're able to go home to Canada for Christmas, and i can't wait to see my Dad! we haven't been there since spring, so we're LONG overdue.

but this is my crafty blog here, right? so on with the show!

first, there's a brand new ELEMENTS CHALLENGE at Design Dollies! this should be an easy one, especially for those working on all their holiday cards right now...

the theme this week is SNOWFLAKES! piece of cake, right?

here's my CAS card (yes, another!):

i REALLY need to find more of those cork letters - they're fantastic! especially with my recent discovery of my kraft obsession. ;)

this week, all the Design Dollies challenges for November are wrapping up and we'll be announcing our winners, and showing you the NEW prizes for December! for now though, just trust me when i tell you they're FABULOUS, and you're going to want to keep playing along (or STARTING to play, if you haven't already!)...

you now have two of the ingredients for this week's triple threat trifecta thingadoo, so you can choose to combine this one with yesterday's COLOUR CHALLENGE, or you can wait until the third ingredient is revealed on thursday, or you can just do the individual challenges if you'd prefer. we're just thrilled to see so many people playing along!

tomorrow also ends our Design Team Call! the Dollies are looking for some new blood, and we have gotten some AMAZING applications thus far! if you're on the fence about it, what have you got to lose? check out this link for details, if you're an aspiring Dollie! :)

and last night i started a card for challenge #2 at Tellen's Place... the freebie is FANTASTIC - i am loving the images! soooo... my entry:

i LOVE the "crafter's wish list"! how perfect is that for our little community?! so here's miss Diva, all glittered up, saucy as all get-out:

play along! Terry, the owner and the brains behind the business (her son is the artist, and he does AMAZING work!), is such a lovely person - her enthusiasm and sunny attitude are both refreshing and contagious! i'll be visiting Tellen's Place daily for my fix of happy and inspiring! :)

this card also fits the challenges for the following:
Corrosive Creations (my fellow Baker, Janet, at Humble Pie!)
Color Create - Red, Green and White (with a candy cane inspiration!)
Charisma Cards - anything CHRISTMAS!
Paper Makeup Stamps - anything CHRISTMAS! (i see a recurring theme here!)
Stamp With Fun - Christmas theme

right. back to work!

  1. Kewl cards, Leah!!

A question.. Did I send you a copy of Gilbert the Ghost? If I didn't, do you want one? If you do, drop me a line to craftling@btinternet.com so I get your email address. If not, then all I can say is you must have very poor taste in ectoplasm, and I despair of you.

    Hugs,
    Chris xx
